Scholastic Scrimmage Sendoff

The Scholastic Scrimmage team, consisting of Caleb and Seth Darnell, Isabelle Rogerson, James Phillips and Liam McGill, worked extremely hard during the Jeopardy-style WQLN competitions to attempt to win against various schools in the area.

The team was awarded with a send-off to show that their efforts are appreciated, and to wish them luck towards getting winning results against other schools!

Career Readiness Fair

On March 20, various companies and organizations came to Fort LeBoeuf to showcase future opportunities to seniors.

Fort LeBoeuf hosted their Annual College and Career Readiness Fair, where they had over 30 vendors attend. This helps the students create connections in the job world; students can get hired on the spot or learn more about their career of interest with an internship. Students can build their resume and learn how to communicate with adults who have experience in the real world.

At the end, they graciously provided prizes for the seniors who attended and explored opportunities that piqued their interest.

Read Across America Week

Through the week of March 4th, various LeadFLB students travelled to the three elementary schools across the district.

These students brought various books to read to elementary schoolers for Read Across America Week. They broke off into groups or went as individuals to spread a little bit of joy to the excited students throughout the week.
